J.B. Adams helps business leaders raise awareness of themselves and their environment, so they can take responsibility for improving effectiveness. He consults at all organizational levels, and specializes in creating transformative learning experiences that enhance human relationships, organizational culture, and interpersonal communication.
His career began at The Walt Disney Company where he created training programs for Disney Institute, helping professionals from around the world to benchmark Disney’s business practices. In 2001, after eleven years with Disney, J.B. created his own company, Adams Learning, Incorporated, to provide consulting services to companies in all types of industries. Adams Learning provides curriculum consulting, learning strategy development, and instructional design to help organizations achieve their performance goals. Adams Learning specializes in interpersonal communication skills training in the areas of leadership and management, teams, customer service, sales, diversity, and ethics.
J.B. has worked with clients such as The Walt Disney Company, Toyota, Office Depot, Walmart, Bank of America, Liberty Mutual, FedEx Office, Hanesbrands, Tiffany & Co., The Tribune Company, and U.S. Navy.
J.B. earned a B.S. in Agriculture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an M.B.A. from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. He lives in Orlando, Florida. In his spare time, he is an amateur genealogist and historian, studying the long-reaching impact of ancestors’ decisions on subsequent generations.
